After successfully completing stage 1 in 2017 with Frigtech we were again engaged to assist with the completion of Stage 2. The new cool rooms measure 72×35 and is doubling the existing foot print. Western Power installed two new HV transformers, MECS a new SMSB and new 1200 amp cabling to the new chiller, 500 amp to the new DB and new cabling to the existing DB, Generator and chiller. Resource Data Management (RDM) provided the state of the art control system to control the cool rooms and the new Chiller.

Coles Swanview
MECS was engaged by Newbrook Construction to do the general light and power modifications including new lighting, new power to prep areas and mains to the new MSSB. We also negotiated with Coles to complete a switchboard changeover of all Light and Power switchboards including the generator ATS panel, BMSB and 4 DB’s
Amaroo Village Clubhouse
Supply and install a new MSSB on the roof condenser deck. The job had over 50 fan coil units, 8 Condensing units and 9 exhaust fans. The whole system was controlled by a Daikin Itouch controller.
Gourmania Chef Bayswater
Gourmania Chef are a company producing bulk, ready to eat meals and due to their expansion required a new custom designed facility to be built. MECS were involved from the beginning helping with the design of the refrigeration control system as well as the mechanical electrical for the office fit out.
The site consisted of cool rooms, freezer rooms and a plate freezer, all up three racks were required all having three compressors each. The Danfoss system monitors all the plant and can be accessed by the refrigeration company and the owner anywhere, any time.
Costco Wholesale Perth Airport
Perth Airport is the first of the two planned Costco sites for W.A. MECS, along with specialised tradesmen from around Australia were trusted to install an award winning refrigeration plant consisting of both CO2 and Ammonia refrigerants.
The project was completed in record time and to the highest of standards meaning when the commissioning team arrived from Sydney they too could complete their works in record time.
Vintage Cellars Mosman Park
We completed a full light and power installation including Coles Specified switchboard to the new premises. This project had a tight timeline and we a re proud to say me met all projected targets.
Costa Logistics
Costa Logistics is the cold store delivering fruit and vegetables to all Coles stores in WA. MECS was engaged by a refrigeration contractor to remove the out dated Allen Bradley PLC and install and new Danfoss system to control the two refrigeration racks and the existing and new cool rooms installed.
Farmer Jacks Ashby
Design and install a refrigeration system including glass door freezer, cool rooms and freezer rooms. The system was controlled by the Emerson Site Supervisor and can be monitored by management anywhere anytime.
JD Sports Carousel
MECS was engaged by the multi-national company Gibson Shopfitters to install specified lighting similar to that used throughout the world. The SOW of also included the general power, switchboard upgrade and supply and installation of communications cabling and rack.
Woolworths Albany
Wiring of new glass door freezers and new remote condensers all while Woolworths continued trading. The project was an intense 5 weeks with day, night and weekend works.
