Upgrading the Mechanical Switchboard 

A stable power supply is necessary for communications infrastructure. We swapped out the old board and installed a new mechanical services switchboard. This setup gives the site better electrical protection and easier maintenance access. 

Integrating RDM Controls 

We set up RDM DDC controls to manage the cooling systems. These units give precise technical command over the heavy equipment. Temperature regulation now stays consistent across the exchange room floor. 

Electrical and Mechanical Integrations 

Getting the new gear talking to the existing plant took some coordination. Our crew ran the cabling and piped up the hardware. Everything had to line up perfectly before we could flick the switch.

Working in a Live Exchange 

Telstra exchanges house highly sensitive communication hardware. We could not just shut off the main power or the air conditioning. We staged our work carefully. 

This approach kept the existing cooling systems running while we brought the new equipment online. 

Meeting Strict Infrastructure Specs 

Communications sites demand a level of precision beyond a standard commercial fitout. Every connection and control point had to be exact. We worked closely with Delcon to verify our installations against the strict site requirements.
